Spam Filtering
AKA: Spam filtering, spam/virus scanning.

Purpose: To provide campus-wide email spam and virus filtering. Mail is checked for spam and virus infection by Google before it arrives in Gmail.
Spam Label
Anything Google believes is spam is placed in the Spam "folder" (it is actually a label). Spam messages are automatically deleted after 30 days
Manuals
- Removing Spam from your inbox
- Dealing with legitimate mail marked as spam
- Using Gmail Filters to manage the flow of incoming messages. With filters, you can label, archive, delete, star or forward your mail, even keep it out of Spam -- all based on a combination of keywords, sender, recipients, and more.
