FirstClass Email to use Computer/Home Server Password

We will be making a change to the FirstClass email system so that after 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 15th, 2007, it will use your Computer/Home Server password (technically we are telling FirstClass to use your CSUMB domain password). It will not change the way you login to FirstClass, just the password you use.

Why are we making this change?

So you have one less password to manage and forget. The majority of the calls to the help desk are from people that forgot or mixed up their passwords between systems. This means less calls and happier users.

What do I need to do to be ready?

We recommend that if your current Computer/Home Server and FirstClass password are different, you make them the same immediately. That way you will not even notice the change on April 15th.

Notes/Tips about the change:

--After April 15th, any time you change your Computer/Home Server password, FirstClass will use that same password.
