How to get your Mac connected to CSUMB wireless
If you have a newer Mac and are having problems connecting to CSUMB wireless, you may have a problem with your disk permissions. To fix it, go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility. Select the main hard drive and click "Repair Disk Permissions". If this does not fix the problem, you will need to reset your PRAM and SMC:
- Reset PRAM of machine by holding (command, option, P, and R) upon machine restart. Do not let go of these keys until the second startup chime has passed.
- Reset SMC Controller of machine. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
If you are still can't connect to CSUMB wireless, please stop by the IT Service Desk in the library.
