If you have a newer Mac and are having problems connecting to CSUMB wireless, you may have a problem with your disk permissions. To fix it, go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility. Select the main hard drive and click "Repair Disk Permissions". If this does not fix the problem, you will need to reset your PRAM and SMC:

  1. Reset PRAM of machine by holding (command, option, P, and R) upon machine restart. Do not let go of these keys until the second startup chime has passed.
  2. Reset SMC Controller of machine. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.

If you are still can't connect to CSUMB wireless, please stop by the IT Service Desk in the library.
