DNS Changer malware detected on East Campus network
We have confirmed that a number of computers connected to the East Campus residential network are infected with malware known as DNSChanger. If your machine is infected, the malware can control what sites you connect to on the internet and potentially direct you to a fraudulent website.
It is quite possible that computers infected with this malware may also be infected with other malware. To protect your computer, make sure you are running and updating your AntiVirus. Symantec Endpoint Protection is available to all students, staff and faculty for free from our website.
