This work will only affect the City of Marina's connection to the Internet. All campus access to the Internet will be automatically rerouted to CSUMB's redundant connection via Soledad.

Cell phone services and all phones on East Campus will operate as usual as well as the four “CENTREX” phones in the Emergency Operation Center in Building 82.

After the upgrade, all campus phones and voice mail boxes will retain their current configurations and will be operated in the same manner. Only the telephone switch “platform” will be upgraded in order to enable IT@CSUMB to support the new Library when it becomes operational.
